With wit, charm and personality, Buffy the Vampire Slayer isn't just the best vampire show of all time, but one of the best shows ever on modern day television.

The terryfing sequel to 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later is a pure example of how horror sequels should be done.

With a spellbinding good performance by William Dafoe, (who actually ate a bat IRL for the part) The Shadow of the Vampire is one of the best indie films this genre has to offer.

It may not be as great as Buffy, but the spin off did make it's own imprint on the genre when it was released, with many cross over episodes to Buffy.

Moonlight may have only lasted one season, but this vampire show was great when it was on air.

16) Blade II B
