The Cosmos: A Space Time Odyssey is a highly entertaining new TV show

What: TV review
Who: The Cosmos
When: April 2014
Where: It's on FX
Why: It's a new version of the original show, this one created by none other than Seth Macfarlane.

Several decades ago a T.V. show named the Cosmos rattled the television universe with its extremely interesting science themes, thoughts and ideas. Now, the television show is back in full force, created by funnyman Seth Macfarlane and staring astronomer Neil Degrasse Tyson.
While the television show is extremely educational (it's also on National Geographic Channel, after all), it hosts astounding visuals of the universe. New age technology benefits the show extremely well as you get to see the wonders of the universe up close and personal. The show isn't just about outer space, either which adds a good mixture of elements. We also get to learn about the history of astronomy and the cosmos, as well as the future.
Neil Degrass Tyson is no Carl Sagan, but he's a perfect match up to narrate and carry on the series. He demonstrates extremely well throughout the series the thoughts and ideas that what makes the show so original.
The Cosmos a Space time Odyssey is a great way to explore the universe and our world around us, and it's a great blend of both sci-fi and science.
