The MIHC second season isn't as good as the first, B+

While there's plenty of more action scenes and great set pieces in the second season of The Man in the High Castle's second season, the show has seemed to face it's first ever sophomore slump.

Everyone's favorite post WWII nazi drama The Man in the High Castle has returned for it's second season. Although it does offer some more action then the first season, the show unfortunately has some negatives to it for the first time. That said, it's still amazing to watch and fascinating at the same time. And of course, there's plenty of drama around it's prime leading lady, Julianna Crane, that will keep fans plugged in for the next episode.

The thing that's off about the second season of Man in the High Castle is that the plot is thin and can be a bit better, which is almost shocking for a show that debuted with such a powerful first season. It's as if that punch of the first season faded, but not so much that fans will enjoy the second. They'll just enjoy it a bit less.

What's most fascinating about The Man in the High Castle that continues onto the second season is it's visuals and set pieces. The artwork that's done is a reason to watch the second season alone.
Another highlight of the second season is Julianna's Crane character and her adventure through the show. There's some great character development in the second season that will keep fans even rooting for the bad guys.

The acting by everyone involved is of course top notch, proving that Amazon Prime is a mighty force in the T.V. universe.

Above all else, The Man in the High Castle is still successful in it's second season. There may be a few bumps and hiccups, but fans will enjoy it and that's all that metters.
B+
