2025 Rockygrass Festival now sold out for Molly Tuttle & The Golden Highway's last ride

This upcoming weekend, the 2025 Rockygrass Festival returns to Lyons with a stellar line up, highlighted by the final performance of Molly Tuttle & The Golden Highway on Friday evening.

Molly Tuttle & The Golden Highway have been a 'Bonified Bluegrass Band' as Kyle Tuttle likes to say for four years now. It's no doubt that seeing them live is an incredible experience unlike any other in the music industry. This reviewer in particular has seen and reviewed the group five times now, all in the great state of Colorado, and has interviewed Molly Tuttle twice. Molly and the gang absolutely love performing Colorado, and each year have multiple performances in the state signifying that they have a large following here.

They are a Grammy award winning force that puts on an electrifying performance, from each member's solos to Molly's incredible banjo and guitar playing in the band. Now, Molly is gearing towards more of an Americana sound (she doesn't play banjo anyone), and each member is doing their own solo career. But viewing them all live and together is an incredible, can't miss experience for any music venue.

"Nothing's permanent in the music industry," Shelby Means told us at her solo show in BV this past week. She no doubt wishes to play with the group again sometime in the future.

The 2025 Rocky Grass Festival will unfortunately be the group's final show, and it will be one not to be missed. "I'm going to let it all hang out," Kyle Tuttle promised on social media in a heartwarming post about the band's break up. For of those of you that don't know, it's no secret about Molly & Kyle Tuttle: even though they share the same last name, they aren't related. However, 'it does make it easier for tax purposes," Kyle likes to jokes sometimes at their shows.

Another can't miss performance Friday will be the legendary blue grass legends The Del Mccurey Band, who played 'She's Heavenly' as their first song on their satellite radio show on Bluegrass Junction this weekend. This is relevant because it special guest stars Molly Tuttle, and the two groups will most likely be joining each other's sets this weekend at Rockygrass. Golden Highway veteran Shelby Means will also be performing solo with her own band Saturday as well on the secondary stage.

Other musicians who will no doubt be great performances of the festival will be the Becky Buller Band and AJ Lee & Blue Summit on Saturday, and of course The Infamous Stringdusters Sunday evening. It will be magical time in Lyons Colorado this year at the smaller intimate Rockygrass Festival.
