Jaime Wyatt steals the show Saturday night at Mission Ballroom, A+

Above: Jaime Wyatt performs Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Mission Ballroom.

This past Saturday night saw a packed show at Denver's Mission Ballroom. While The Tedeski Brothers blessed the crowd with their signature guitar playing, it was country western singer Jaime Wyatt who blew everyone away, proving she has one of the best live vocals in the music industry today.

By the time Jaime Wyatt graced the staged at 8pm, it was a mostly packed floor and upper balcony at the Mission Ballroom Saturday night. The night would prove to be an excellent combination of extremely talented musicians from both Jaime Wyatt and The Teskey Brothers, but it was Jaime and her band who sounded the most incredible. Their sound proved an excellent warm up for the headlining band.

Even though she only played for 30 minutes, Jaime's vocals were on full display Saturday night. A few months ago, she performed a headlining concert in Denver at a much smaller venue. That time, it was clear she was unfortunately suffering from sickness. This time, it was obvious she not only beat the virus, but improved 100 percent since then.

Jaime came on stage with her signature cowboy hat and dazzling blue outfit, which instantly matched the music she was singing and performing. The Nashville star seemed more than thrilled to be in Denver and opening up the show for The Teskey Brothers.

As her set continued, everyone in the band performed exceptionally well. It sounded great both up front and in the back of the venue. Surprisingly, it sounded a bit better in the back versus being directly up front, which is something every show should be.

Jaime performed songs from her new 2023 record, Feel Good, kicking off her set with the title track. Each song sounded incredible, especially 'Fugitive', 'Back to the Country' and her closing tune, 'World Worth Keeping'.  While her set did miss out on some of her signature older tunes like 'Wasco', it's these newer songs that she truly shines on performing.

Feel Good is one of the best country western albums released in recent years, and of course, the songs sound so much better with a live experience.

Jaime even took the time to meet and greet with fans after her show, and not a lot of artists are willing to meet everyone and take photos like she did. 'Your music helped me get through the last few years of college,' expressed one gratified younger fan at the meet and greet.

Jaime Wyatt show on Saturday night was absolutely worth going to, and there's no doubt that this Nashville country singer song writer has an incredibly bright future in front of her.

A+
