Homecoming is exceptional telivision, A+

Not to be confused with Spider-Man: Homecoming, Homecoming is Julia Robert's stunning television debut. The result is an incredible, mind binding thriller that proves that there can still be some fresh and inspiring ideas out there.

Television can't get any better than this. An incredible cast lead by an aging but still brilliant Julia Roberts is only one thing that's great about the new Amazon show Homecoming. It's one of those shows that makes you think, and is a mind bending thriller from episode one to the finale. Everything about the show makes it so good it's almost scary-from the frightening music to eerie scenes and even how the show is done makes it different than anything else on television right now.

Even though Julia Robert's performance is stunning, the entire cast deserves well recognize for this show. One of the most greatest surprises is supporting actor Shea Whigham who plays a private investigator on the show. His acting is captivating and makes you want to watch the show because of him, even though he has very few parts compared to some of the other characters. Even so, Roberts is of course exceptional. For her first ever television show, she does amazingly well, and you can tell as much as the show is about everything else, it's real focus is her. Her performance is almost too demanding, but still much believable acting and you can tell she really truly enjoyed playing the part of Heidi Bergman.

However, the best thing about Homecoming isn't the acting. It's the in tense story line, excellent screen writing, filmography and musical score makes it feel like your watching an Oscar film. Everything ties together so well that's almost scary. The filmography of the film is incredibly different, and unlike anything else you've ever seen on the small screen. It's awkward and unusual shots of the Homecoming building and surroundings make it even more weird then it actually is, which in this case, is a good thing.

The music is some what frightening and nerve racking too, fitting in well with what the show is trying to do over all, which is to confuse you in a good way that makes you think about your own surroundings and how you treat every day life.
Homecoming is by far the best thing Amazon has produced in several years and another reason to invest in the mighty streaming service.
Overall grade: A+
