Lego Movie Part 2 is still good, but doesn't live up to first, B

The Lego Movie Part 2 has all of your favorite characters in it and adds some new ones to the mix. However, as awesome as it tries to be it just isn't as great as the first one.

There's something special about the Lego films. Now, after four successful movies including a Batman spin off, the franchise finally returns to it's roots in the Lego Movie Part 2. Picking off right where the first film left all, all your favorite characters are back, but there's just something missing that doesn't live up to the first film. Still, there's plenty humor and pop culture references in Part 2 that will still leave fans both young and old feeling happy and satisfied.

Although it takes a while to sink in, when it finally does, The Lego Movie: Part 2 can still pull of humorous jokes and pop culture references that will leave you chuckling along for the ride.
Of course, Chris Pratt returns as everyone's favorite character Emmet, and Elizabeth Banks is back as Lucy. They have great characters and their voices are perfect for the roles.
Will Arnett also returns as the witty Batman, who has a larger part in the second one than the first, and is still a great character that we can all love.

Perhaps the highlight of the Lego Movie 2 isn't the story line or the characters but the animation. The unusual animation returns and is greater than ever. It's awe inspiring to look at from the first few minutes of the film to the last, and that's what separates the Lego animated films from all the Disney things that have been released so far. They are unique, and unusual, and that still what makes them awesome.

While the Lego Movie Part 2 is about growing up, the movies them selves have also grown since the first one was released several years ago. They are more mature, cutting edge, and sticking to the times more so than anyone else.

The best thing about the Lego movies is there are as just as fun for adults as for kids, and they can surely be enjoyed by movie goers of all ages.
The second part might be a bit too long, and the story line is no where near as the original and great as the first one, but it's still enjoyable to watch.
