Datsik performs at the Westcott for a two nighter this week

Canadian dubstep producer and DJ Troy Beetles (Datsik) will perform a two night gig this week at Syracuse's Westcott Theater. Musical icons both in their own ways, these two forces will come together to bring two nights of dance friendly music to Syracuse this week.

For first times that have never been to a Datsik show, Troy uses a multiple arrange of equipment to produce the bass needed for his live event. e uses Apple's Logic Pro Software while on stage, with of course a launchpad, and a DJM-900 mixer.Of course, the audience can expect to see an amazing light show as well.
Datsik is from British Columbia city called Kelowna. He was born in 1988 and started making music in 2008.
The Canadian dubsteb artist has a wide arrange of musical influences, including everyone from Crystal Method to Wu-Tang Clan.
He produced his first album in 2012 called Vitamin D through Dim Mak Records and Last Gang Records. Since then, he's released two other records, including Let it Burn and Coldblooded with a new Ep coming out this year.
Datsik has performed at multiple music festivals across the world and North American, including Coachella.

Doors open at 8 while the shows will begin around 9PM.
