Green Book is an exceptional film, A

With powerful acting from it's two leads, Green Book is one of 2018's best films. It's exceptional screen play and feel good atmosphere makes it highly enjoyable to watch from beginning to end.

A beautiful and heart warming movie, Green Brook is by far one of the best films of 2018. It works on multiple levels, but the reason why it's so good is because of the excellent chemistry between the two leading actors, Viggo Mortensen and Mahershala Ali. Both showing exceptional acting skills throughout the film, it's one of those movies that hits home at all the right places. While it can be a touchy subject matter at times, the screen play, acting and effectiveness of the movie helps make it avoid being too upsetting.

The highlight of Green Brook is by far the connection between Viggo and Mahershala. The two are like peas and carrots and work extremely well together, almost too well. You get a real feeling of love and respect the two actors have for each other throughout the film. Of course, both actors are exceptionally good and bring their own charisma on screen.

Viggo went through somewhat of a transformation and his weight gain for this role is exceptional. He hits being an Italian dead on, and it's one of the best performances he's ever done. The way he speaks and acts is true to his character in every way, and even though he doesn't look like himself at all, he truly is a delight to watch on screen.

Mahershala is just as good, if not better as Dr. Don Shirley. You can tell how much effort that he put into this role and it isn't just another acting gig for him. In fact, he actually steals the movie, and is a great counter part to Viggo. He's just as delight to watch on screen and as Viggo, if not more.
As emotional as it can be, Green Brook is also extremely funny at times which also helps it escape it from being too much of an upsetting subject matter.

The screen play and writing of the film is beyond exceptional. It's by far one of the best screen plays written the past few years. Any mistake could have easily sent the movie in a wrong direction but it stays steady and strong.

Green Brook isn't a perfect film, but it's a great film to be enjoyed especially in today's world.
