Rebecca and Megan Lovell, the two frontwomen of Larkin Poe, are back this year with 2025's Bloom. Their new record proves the ladies will forever have a rock n roll side to them with a bit of southern blues thrown in.
The ladies presented the album in a fantastic way the day the record came out, Friday, January 26, 2025 with a listened streaming party as they played each song on the album and talked about the meanings behind each song and how they came to be. It was a wonderful way to listen to an album for the first time, and an incredible experiencing listening to the two sisters on how they made the album.
Songwriting has always been a powerful element in Larkin Poe's music, and on Bloom, this comes to full effect on every song.
"Easy Love Parts 1 & 2" is about Megan's relationship and how she is in love with Tyler. The latter half is a bit different than the first one providing a slower melody, as the first song is about the new love between them, said Megan during the streaming event.
The record already has a number of great singles on it, one of which has been playing on the radios for over 6 months now, but the record finally did come out last week.
Megan's craftiness with the slide guitar also shows up heavily on this record with some great rock n roll tunes she contributes tremendously too.
Despite the sisters winning a grammy for their past record, 'Bloom" is one of their best records to date.
