Last night, veteran Philadelphia jam band The Disco Biscuits filled up the Lawn outside of the Surf Hotel for a laser fed weekday evening. The show was better than usual, with superb sound and visuals throughout both sets.
While the headlining groups were mostly Colorado Bluegrass bands, Shelby Means, husband Joel Timmons and this time around, fiddler Maddie Denton from East Grass Nash filled in for an incredible set on Saturday afternoon for Colorado's 16th Annual Rapidgrass.
This past Friday night, veteran jam band heroes My Morning Jacket not only performed an incredible show at Red Rocks, but they played their album "Z" in its entirety.
Despite a rather large crowd that filled up the grounds at Buttermilk Ski Resort's brand new Up in the Sky Festival, sound issues and a less than stellar performance by Kacey Musgraves made the festival just average.

The first weekend of August saw the return of a wonderful 3-day music and camping festival named Rhythm On The Rio in Del Norte, Co. The festival was absolutely fantastic both Saturday and Sunday, but the highlight was Pixie and the Party Grass's Boys late Saturday afternoon set.

Rockygrass 2025 returned to the farm in Lyons, CO for a sold-out festival July 25-27. The result was an incredible experience for fans and musicians, but really this was truly a Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway weekend, with each member working hard all three days (with some exceptions 4 nights!). We now break down what we believe were the best moments of the entire festival, enjoy.
