What to miss on Demand: Z Nation, C+

What: TV review
Who: Z Nation
When: March 2015
Why: As Part of Wildfire Reviews what to watch on Demand series

While it's a perfect recipe for a 'B' type TV horror show, Z Nation misses its beat. There are some great parts about this low budget Scyfy show, but unfortunately it's flaws makes up for them.
Regular horror fans might make an acceptance, but for the average person just looking for something to watch, it's worth skipping over for now.
Like most things on the Scy Fi Channel, (Save for perhaps Battlestar Galactica) the acting is horrible, but that's a bit obvious, because hasn't it always been in these types of shows?
Another bad thing is that Z Nation never really feels what type of show it wants to be. While it's biggest strength is that it never takes itself too seriously (and it might be a breath of fresh air from the Walking Dead), it also might be it's flaw as well.
Another thing about what makes this show intensely different from WD is that it focuses purely on the Zombies, taking out most story and character development.
The good thing about Z nation is that it's insanely face paced and full of zombies, and if that's your thing, you may want to give it a try and see what happens at the final episode. But for most people, it's not worth it.

Grade: C+

Where can I watch It:
Netflix
