From acclaimed horror director James Wan, the creator of Saw, comes Insidious, a haunted house film that puts a twist on the genre. While many parts of the movie are flawed, the film still packs in some scares, and its interesting & different look on the haunted house genre makes it somewhat of a good horror flick worth watching and not completely bad. Its also a relief to see James Wan take a different path from Saw and his earlier works to create something different with no slasher elements and old school scares.
