X-Men 97 is pure Marvel magic, A+

 

Although animated, X-Men 97 has become the best marvel show released on Disney Plus besides Loki.

Let's face it, we haven't heard much from our favorite mutants since Logan. You can say the Dead Pool movies were a part of that universe, but at the same time, they really weren't. Enter X-Men 97. It's an animation show for older kids and mostly for adults, and better yet, it's a great animation show for many reasons.

The best thing about X-Men 97 may not even be about the characters, storyline or animation, but the theme song. For those of you that did enjoy the original X-Men animated show in the 90s, you'll love seeing the introduction to this one as they're create it and it's absolutely the best at the beginning and ending of the show.

The animation is truly over the top and wonderful in every episode. It's great to look at it from beginning to end.

What really brings the magic to X-Men 97 are the characters. Let's face it-by now, we know all the X-Men, but X-Men 97 gives us a different take on our heroes than previous live action films, even though it's set in the same universe and story line as the first three movies. It's a much more adult version of these characters, especially since it takes place after the events of the first movies when their older. For instance, Rogue is all grown up, and Magneto and Charles Xavier have seemed to have grown past their epic rivalry. (We won't spoil it too much for you!)

X-Men 97 is the best Marvel release on Disney Plus right now. Each episode feels like a movie, and it's well worth watching, even if you're not an animation fan. X-Men 97 also gives us a superhero cure to the crunch were all feeling right now with the recent dull films both Marvel and DC have given us recently.
