What: Movie Review
Who: The World' End
When: January 2014
Anyone who pays attention to movies know the unbound humor and gags from real life friends Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Every movie the two have done together have been successful and highly entertaining since their break through hit 'Shaun of the Dead'. Presently, the two actors are back with another hilarious new film called 'The World's End'.
No, it's not about zombies, however it is a science fiction/apocalypse and is about invading robots/aliens. With a nod to classic films like Invasion of the Body Snatchers and the original Night of the Living Dead, The World's End is filled with funny jokes as the guys try and attempt a beer crawl while also fighting off invading robots. It's a great movie, and any fans of their previous work won't be disappointed in The World's End. There a few classic scenes in this film that are not to miss that make it different from the other apocalyptic comedy that came out the same year, 'This is the End'.
However, one can tell that Simon Pegg is looking a bit older these days, despite still being funny which is what matters.
