Robert Plant's new album is fairly good, B+

What: Music review
Who: Robert Plant
When: October 2014
Why: Robert Plant's 10th Studio Album, Lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar

Coming from one of the greatest rock n roll bands of all time, Robert Plant has amazingly had a successful career of his own. Just recently he released his 10th studio solo album, Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar, in September of 2014.
Even though the album sounds unlike anything Zeppelin has ever recorded by a long shot, you can still tell the soothing eerie vocals come from the infamous lead singer even during track one.
You can tell that age has made a difference with Plant's musical choices. The album is a definition of aging rock, yet, at the same time it's something fresh and new and at the very least, interesting to listen to.
The production on this album is top notch and one of the best of the entire year. Each song is carefully well done and produced with a well balanced blend of all the musicians involved, highlighted of course by Plant.
It's almost as if Plant is trying to bewitch us with the eerie sounds of the Lullaby and...The Ceaseless Roar, but hey, it works. While it's not one of Plant's best solo works (to be fair we can look back to see his style with Allison Krauss), but, the new album is nothing to put aside either. While core Led Zeppelin fans might be a bit disappointed, they should realize that Plant is out there trying to make new music and new sound and hey, it isn't all too bad either.
