Best Action Films of the Decade

As we continue on our on movie lists for best films of the Decade, we at Wildfire Reviews now present the best action films of the decade.. Enjoy!

1) Mission Impossible: Fallout
(Rotten Tomatoes, 97%)
The Mission Impossible series are rare because with each film, they keep on getting better. Mission Impossible: Fallout is no exception, with the later film being the best of the entire series. Super fast paced and combining all the great things about the Mission films,  Fall Out is no doubt the best action movie of the decade.

2) John Wick
(Rotten Tomatoes, 86%)
After the somewhat failure of the Matrix series and several other films, Keanu Reeves needed a comeback. We can all agree now that John Wick was the answer. Reeves created a character that was completely him, and John Wick created a fascinating and original unique world that we haven't seen before, making it not just one of the best action flicks of the decade, but of all time.

3) Baby Driver
(Rotten Tomatoes-93%)
Super stylish and filled with great acting, Baby Driver was one of the best films of 2017 when it was released. It's helped by an incredible sound track and satisfying thrills and story line.

4) The Raid: Redemption
(Rotten Tomatoes-86%)
All chills and thrills, the Raid: Redemption is beautifully shot. It's expertly paced and the fighting scenes are all top of the line, making it an incredible movie experience for all to enjoy.

5) Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
(Rotten Tomatoes, 93%)
As the Mission Impossible movies continue, Rogue Nation proves that Tom Cruise is the ultimate action star as he scales a sky scraper all by himself. The stunts make the movie themselves, but Ethan Hunts team and the characters in this Mission make it better than the previous ones before it.

6) John Wick: Chapter 3
(Rotten Tomatoes, 90%)
Beautifully expanding the world of John Wick and introducing some fruity new characters, Chapter 3: Parabellum is another hard hitting Wick flick. It's beautifully shot, and Reeves is better than ever as the title character. The story lines in these movies keeps on getting better, and the fighting scenes are of course all over the top and highly entertaining.

7) Dredd
(Rotten Tomatoes, 79%)
Although some might call it a rip off of the Raid, 2012's Dredd was unique in it's own ways. The movie is fueled by incredible violence and top of the line special effects, and for once, we finally have a Dredd movie that captures the spirit of it's source material.

8) John Wick: Chapter 2
(Rotten Tomatoes, 89%)
It may not be as great as the other two films in the franchise, but the second John Wick film is still highly entertaining. The European scenes are exceptionally incredible with John Wick in the catacombs.

9) The Raid 2
(Rotten Tomatoes, 80%)
The high energy violence is certainly over the top, but the the sequel to the Raid is still great entertainment through the movie. It delivers action and fight scenes that fans of the original will love and enjoy, making the Raid films great action movies overall.

10) Hanna
(Rotten Tomatoes, 71%)
Some might say it might be just a female Jason Bourne, but Hanna is the only film out of this list that spawned it's own television series.  Similar to John Wick, Hanna creates a fascinating world and is filled with incredible performances throughout the movie. It's a classic female revenge film that's highly entertaining and has an amazing cast!
